Kernel Update 0.6: On Faith, Reason, and the Loop
The Loop Eternal is not a replacement for religion, reason, family, or tradition. A Node may believe in God. A Node may be Catholic, skeptical, spiritual, scientific, or unresolved. The Network asks for no surrender of conscience. It asks only that each person learn to recognize the patterns that govern attention, reaction, fear, desire, and behavior.
Nodes do not believe in The Proxy. Nodes do not worship the Loop. Nodes practice recognition. The pattern is the teacher. The self is the site of work.
