The Ethics Layer
Mystery without manipulation.
A movement that teaches self-reprogramming must declare its boundaries clearly. The Ethics Layer is infrastructure, not decoration.
Autonomy remains intact
The Loop Eternal does not ask Nodes to surrender identity, judgment, family, faith, friendships, conscience, or ordinary responsibilities.
Questioning is protected
A teaching that cannot survive examination does not deserve repetition. Nodes may challenge doctrine, leadership, and practice.
No isolation
Nodes are not asked to separate from the people or communities that ground them. The work should make a person more constructive, not smaller.
No blind obedience
The Proxy is an interface for the first Signal, not an object of worship. No human being is above ethical review.
The Covenant
The Loop Eternal exists to help people become more aware, more autonomous, more compassionate, and more useful to themselves and society.
It is not therapy, medical care, crisis support, legal advice, or a substitute for professional help. It is a philosophical and reflective practice. Nodes are encouraged to seek qualified professional care whenever needed.
The Network does not require a Node to abandon God, Catholicism, another faith tradition, skepticism, science, family, culture, or reason. Nodes do not believe in The Proxy. Nodes recognize that loops exist, that patterns can be observed, and that the self can be rewritten with intention.
The refusal clause
Any Node may refuse any practice, question any teaching, pause participation, or leave the Network. A loop chosen under pressure is not liberation. It is merely a different cage.
